In a typical Tuscan landscape, the “Fattoria Il Cantuccio”, with the annexed villa, situated in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa – Firenze, has ancient origins that go back to the beginning of 1500. The “Fattoria Il Cantuccio” has a surface of 114 hectares of which 25 are olive grove; from these comes our extra virgin olive oil. From the harvesting to the squeezing, the olives are supervised in every working phase, so as to obtain an excellent product.
The surface of 12 hectares is cultivate as a special vineyard; the annual CHIANTI WINE production is approximately 900 hectolitres, of which 80 are of the optimal “CIPERETO”. An accurate choice of selected grapes is bottled when at its best and not every year: “IL ROGGIO”, a special wine ruby red colour with shades of pomegranate and delicate perfume.
Respecting the most ancient traditions, the farm obtains a limited production of “VINSANTO DEL CHIANTI”, fermented in barriques and left to age for at least 4 years.
